@25 is a mixed-use office and commercial brownfield development project consisting of 45 acres and over 500,000 of building space at the Interchange of I-25 and Jefferson Blvd. in Albuquerque, New Mexico at the old Digital Equipment Company site. In addition to designing the landscape, Sites Southwest worked with the architect on site planning strategies. The landscape and hardscape for the project was developed to provide optimum pedestrian amenities with a southwestern sensibility. The plant palette consists of native and endemic plants used in unorthodox and dramatic ways to complement the retro style architecture of the development. A central pedestrian plaza complements building use and creates a gathering space for residents. Sites Southwest also provided a Landscape Management Plan for the developer from which the maintenance of the project was bid.
