Sites Southwest developed a flexible prototype sign system that would allow for identification of facilities and provide pedestrian wayfinding information. The sign system consisted of 3 sign types; a large double sided entrance sign, a large single sided entrance sign and a pedestrian wayfinding sign. The sign system allowed for customization so that each sign would fit the facility. The design priorities were readability, creating an identity that was recognizably AMAFCA, ease of maintenance, permanence, reasonable cost of fabrication and installation.
