East DeVargas Park is located within the historic district of Santa Fe and adjacent to the Santa Fe River. The park was originally built in the 1970's and posed many design challenges. All of the electrical and park lighting was brought up to current code, the irrigation system was totally redesigned and planting was supplemented to revive the park. Historic elements such as rock walls, fencing, shade structures etc were refurbished as part of the project.
