The renovation and expansion of Jack and Jill park will bring one southeast Albuquerque many new activities while incorporating both water conservation and labor saving measures to reduce maintenance. In response to neighborhood requests, the park will focus on activity areas for both family and community, with an emphasis on young children. The design concept re-creates a colorful life sized board game with a sweet theme. Destinations within the park will include such places as Lollipop Plaza, Jawbreakers Skatepark and a Hot Fudge half court that resembles a sundae. A large sloped turfgrass area will be oriented to the Pixy Stix Stage, where the neighborhood plans to have community gatherings.
