Sites Southwest, together with the architects, developed the Land Development Design Guidelines for the Journal Center 2 in 2003. The purpose of the document was to establish a code for site planning, landscape and architecture that all property owners would be required to abide. The goal was to create an office park that was based on sound principals of land use, aesthetics and sustainability. The code includes standards for street furniture, a color palette and a list of approved and prohibited plants.
