As a subcontractor to Daniel B. Stephens & Associates, Sites Southwest is responsible for the public participation component of a regional water plan for this two-county area. Sites Southwest prepared the public involvement plan and press materials, facilitated steering committee and public meetings, worked with the steering committee to develop draft goals and objectives and completed the demographic component of the plan. During the plan's second phase, Sites Southwest is facilitating public meetings to identify and evaluate alternatives to meet the future demand for water in the region. The first phase of this project was completed in 2001, and the second phase is underway.
