Luna County was transitioning from its ranching and farming based economy to one of renewable energy, value added agriculture and retirement. Along with the changes came some problems. Sites SW tackled those problems in a Comprehensive Plan for the county.
Socorro, Texas Comprehensive Master Plan
With its update of Socorro’s Comprehensive Master Plan, Sites Southwest helped this predominantly Hispanic city set goals and lay out steps to achieve the community’s desired future vision.
City of Anthony Master Plan
Anthony, New Mexico is in a rapidly growing part of southern Dona Ana County within the El Paso, Texas metro area. Incorporated in 2010, Anthony leaders needed help directing the future of this new city. Sites Southwest created a Comprehensive Master Plan that holistically evaluates key issues facing the community.
Farmington MPO 2040 Metropolitan Transportation Plan, Public Outreach
The Farmington Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) contracted with Sites Southwest to undertake an extensive public outreach effort as part of the process to update its 2040 Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP).
Village of Ruidoso Affordable Housing Plan
The Village of Ruidoso is a resort community in south central New Mexico. Much of the available housing was built for seasonal use because of that. The lack of affordable housing for both service workers and entry level employees impacted the local economy.
Dona Ana County Affordable Housing Plan
Just under half of Dona Ana County’s population resides in the incorporated communities of Las Cruces and Mesilla. Over half of the population lives in smaller towns, villages and unincorporated communities along the Rio Grande Valley. Many of those communities are designated colonias with significant needs for basic infrastructure and affordable housing.
Greater Carlsbad Housing Analysis and Strategic Plan
The Greater Carlsbad Comprehensive Plan – Strategy 2020 identified a number of housing issues and established goals and objectives for providing quality residential environments. That was an initial step toward addressing the housing issue. Sites Southwest’s Housing Analysis and Strategic Plan provided another step.
