Sites Southwest, in association with Ayers Saint Gross Architects, provided master planning for a new campus for the University of New Mexico in Rio Rancho.

The project’s intent was to marry “Town and Gown,” developing a fully integrated campus and nearby downtown. Sites’ roles included land and campus planning, programming, standards and guidelines development, sustainability planning and implementation and phasing.

This project was more comprehensive than most campus planning because the Sites designers also worked with the Kellogg & Associates architectural team for the City Center adjacent to the campus.
