Mariposa is a sustainably oriented and planned community development project of over 8000 acres. The first phase of Mariposa encompassed over 35 acres of native landscaped streets and trails. Over 30 acres of additional parks–including a future 24-acre regional recreation facility–were also in phase one.
Sites Southwest served as landscape architects and designers for the project. In addition, the team helped establish an overall landscape management plan for the community and generated critical operational procedures and schedules for the state of the art central irrigation control system.
