Two hundred and sixteen of El Paso’s bus stops were in serious need of a facelift. Sites Southwest assisted Sun Metro and the civil engineers chosen for the project in updating the facilities, including new landscaping.
The NM 14 highway project involved the reconstruction of a 10-mile stretch of National Scenic Byway between Madrid and Santa Fe, New Mexico. The collaborative effort included Sites Southwest, consulting engineering firm Parsons Brinkerhoff, New Mexico Department of Transportation and the Madrid and Cerrillos Citizens Advisory Committee.
The San Mateo and I-40 Interchange is unique in that it has the Albuquerque storm water diversion channel dividing east and westbound I-40 Traffic. San Mateo forms a bridge over the channel. This ephemeral waterway and the growing consciousness of water in the southwest was one of the inspirations for the project’s aesthetic design.
