Project VIDA’s clinic, wellness center and administration building provide much needed services in an economically depressed area where outdoor spaces are at a premium. Sites Southwest’s challenge was to create some additional outdoor space for the community that also met the clinic needs.

Aldea El Paso

Aldea, El Paso is a 250 Master Planned New Urbanist Community in the city’s northwest sector. It’s located near the dramatic backdrop of the Franklin Mountains and beautiful Chihuahuan Desert. Sites Southwest, working with the owners and Moule & Polyzoides Urbanists, developed a plan for the residential and commercial center in a community well attuned to the desert environment.

Albuquerque GI/LID Standard Details

The purpose of this project was to develop standard details for green infrastructure and low impact development strategies that could be incorporated into the Design Process Manual for the City of Albuquerque. The 14 details range from highly urban interventions such as storm water planter boxes and curb extension retrofits to non-urban interventions such as contour swales and Zuni bowls.

Hahn Arroyo Master Plan and Design

Sites Southwest teamed with Smith Engineering for the design and rebuild of the Hahn. The primary purpose of the project was to replace the drainage lining while addressing water quality.

V Sue Cleveland High School and Sports Complex

Sites Southwest was part of the design team for a new high school in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, serving 2500 students, faculty and staff. The overall goal was to make the school a LEED Silver certified building incorporating green techniques.
