Santa Fe County Old Judicial Complex sits on a key 2.3-acre site in downtown Santa Fe. The two-story building on the site was formerly used as the First District Court, but now it was time for some changes.
Los Lunas Transportation Center MRA Plan
Los Lunas needed to spur more interest in developing its Transportation Center into a walkable, mixed-use, transit-oriented area. In the heart of the historic village, the station building and surroundings had been a regional transportation hub since 2006, serving the Rail Runner Express train system and local buses. The surrounding private land was not developing into the envisioned higher density residential and commercial uses.
West Central Metropolitan Redevelopment Area (MRA) Plan
Central Avenue in Albuquerque west of the Rio Grande needed a boost. The City called on Sites Southwest for a redevelopment plan that would help.
Belen Downtown Master/MRA Plan
A large number of vacant and underutilized properties exist in Belen and new business formation has lagged. Sites Southwest’s Downtown Master Plan/MRA Plan seeks to address these ongoing challenges by helping define the community’s vision for the city’s downtown core.
Los Lunas Transportation Center Master Plan and Design
Phase II of the Transportation Center Improvements focuses on creating a town center for the Village of Los Lunas. The site design provides three unique spaces: North Plaza, Courtyard and South Plaza drop-off.
East Downtown Albuquerque (EDO)
The EDO Project incorporated New Urbanist thinking into revitalization of Central Avenue and Broadway Boulevard just east of downtown Albuquerque.
Raton Downtown Master Plan and MRA Plan
The City of Raton and Raton MainStreet contracted with Sites Southwest to prepare a Downtown Master Plan/MRA Plan, including a designation report for the MRA. Sites Southwest conducted a public workshop with downtown stakeholders and personally surveyed downtown businesses to identify assets and confirm improvements the community wanted.
Nob Hill/Highland Sector Development Plan
Albuquerque’s Nob Hill and Highland neighborhoods contain historic residential areas and the city’s first commercial center along old Route 66. Sites Southwest was charged with updating and expanding a 20-year old Sector Development Plan.
