Convair Road Improvement

Sites worked closely with El Paso International Airport (EPIA) and the project engineers to create a colorful and vibrant corridor for Convair Road. Low water and colorful plants create an iconic image of El Paso for residents and travelers who are coming, going or just passing through. Sites provided EPIA with this cutting-edge, low-voltage landscape lighting, which enables easy and quick operation of the lighting from a computer screen or a smartphone app. Lights may be quickly changed to match the team's colors, whether they are arriving as Sun Bowl players or Christmas travelers. Improvements include wide walkways, street trees, colorful shrubs, decorative screen walls, low water drip irrigation, low voltage landscape lighting and pedestrian rest areas complete with site furnishings that provide a visually interesting opportunity for a little exercise and/or respite.
