Strategic Partners

In addition to our core team, we work with experienced independent professionals who bring specialized expertise to our various projects.

Emily Arasim Beltrán

Emily Arasim Beltrán is a farmer, organizer, and community planner born in Tesuque, NM and working and living in the Pojoaque and Española Valleys. She is passionate about building community health through work that centers land-based knowledge, environmental justice, and the needs of our young people. Emily runs her own small planning and facilitation business, Rooted Strategies NM LLC, and completed her Master's Degree in Community and Regional Planning at UNM in 2025. As a part of her studies, she spent three years writing a handbook on the history and importance of rural grocery stores across Northern New Mexico, and strategies for their protection and revitalization. She serves as a Board Member for the New Mexico Resiliency Alliance and the Northern Youth Project, and has held staff roles with many local non-profits and community groups over the past decade.

Autumn Leiker

Autumn Leiker is a strategic designer and community engagement specialist with over a decade of experience. Drawing on a background in user experience, research, and facilitation, Autumn designs inclusive processes that translate technical content into accessible, actionable insights. They have led engagement and storytelling initiatives for public art projects, planning departments, and nonprofits across New Mexico. Autumn holds a B.S. in Society and Environment from the University of California, Berkeley, and a certificate in Sustainable Design from the University of Melbourne.
