Sandia Ranch Master Plan

Bernalillo County commissioned Sites to develop a Master Plan and schematic design plans for the 20-acre Sandia Ranch in Albuquerque. This agriculturally based project includes extensive public involvement and coordination with the Middle Rio Grande Conservancy District and the American Sign Language Academy with a master plan, site analysis and programming, and construction documents. Programmatically the project includes farm and ranch-based zones for animal husbandry and farming with field seed plots, orchards and vineyards, trails along the Camino Real and the acequia that splits the property, 4H and County Extension Service offices and grounds, an arena with bleachers and pens, a small community park and playground, El Camino kiosk design, master gardening, and rodeo arena.
