Dani brings a holistic approach to community planning, blending her background in architecture, history, and community development to address challenges through sustainable and inclusive strategies. With experience across the Southwest and Midwest, she has worked in private, non-profit, and philanthropic sectors. Her portfolio includes creative vacant lot redevelopment, comprehensive regional planning, and engaging residents to foster their role in shaping community futures. At Sites, Dani emphasizes a collaborative process that uncovers resources and solutions within the community ecosystem. Her expertise includes community engagement facilitation, sustainable urban design strategy, and project management. When not working, Dani enjoys exploring New Mexico’s diverse landscapes on foot, bike, or skis, and learning about the region’s flora. She has a passion for cultivating and using plants unfamiliar to her, blending her love of nature with her creative pursuits. A fun fact about Dani: she grew up raising goats and hopes to have a couple again someday.
Dani holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Michigan, both earned in 2013, and a Master of Community Development from the University of Detroit Mercy, completed in 2019.
