Carlos Gemora, AICP

Senior Planner / Project Manager

Carlos is a seasoned planner and project manager with over a decade of experience in urban and regional planning. His expertise includes affordable housing, land use policy, economic development, and long-range community development. Carlos thrives on navigating the complexities of a community’s social fabric, economy, history, and regulations to deliver creative, impactful solutions. He finds fulfillment in balancing the diverse needs of stakeholders and partnering with local experts to implement transformative changes that reflect a community's values and goals. Outside of work, Carlos enjoys the outdoors, woodworking, and metalworking. He is actively involved in education and mentorship as a board member for the Telluride Association and Friends of Architecture Santa Fe. A fun fact about Carlos: he has a flock of chickens and quail and once spent a summer living on a tall ship, teaching high school students.
Carlos earned a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts and Municipal Policy from The Evergreen State College in 2015 and completed graduate studies in Regional Planning at Cornell University in 2017
