Phyllis Taylor, AICP
Phyllis is a founder and partner of Sites with over 40 years of experience as a planner with a deep passion for comprehensive planning, housing strategies, and community redevelopment. At Sites, she specializes in capital improvement investment strategies and planning that fosters sustainable growth. Phyllis is dedicated to helping communities envision and implement solutions that lead to long-term, positive impacts. She enjoys working closely with diverse community members and values the opportunity to collaborate on projects that make a tangible difference in people's lives. Her knowledge of federal and state programs; planning, zoning, and economic development tools; and best practices in community development inform Sites’ practical solutions for community improvement. In her free time, Phyllis enjoys walking with her dog in Albuquerque’s neighborhoods, foothills, and bosque. A fun fact about Phyllis: Phyllis was a competitive square dancer in her 20s and once performed flips over her partner’s shoulder at events.
Phyllis earned her BA in Behavioral Science from Rice University, an MA in Urban Studies from Washington University, and an MBA from the University of New Mexico.
