Viktorija Kristupaitis
Viktorija is a landscape designer with experience in entitlements, site design, and the integration of natural systems into the built environment. Her work spans residential gardens, large-scale developments, and park design, including projects for the City of Albuquerque. She brings a strong technical foundation in grading, drainage, green stormwater infrastructure, and native planting design, paired with a thoughtful approach to landscapes that reflect ecological processes and the cultural history of a place. Viktorija is skilled in both digital and hand-based tools, including CAD, 3D modeling, graphic design, and sketching, as well as low-tech watershed restoration techniques. She is actively involved in the design and environmental community through AridLID, ASLA, the Native Plant Society, and the Albuquerque Wildlife Federation. At SITES, Viktorija enjoys exploring how landscapes can function more like natural systems while supporting the communities that care for them. Outside of work, she enjoys spending as much time outdoors as possible through adventure sports and creative pursuits like sewing and constructing clothing. A fun fact about Viktorija: she once ran a small business building lamps and terrariums.
Viktorija earned a Bachelor of Science in Urban Studies with a minor in Psychology from the University of Minnesota and a Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of New Mexico.
